First and foremost, I am a lover of comic books, movies, video games, pop culture collectables and everything in-between. I initially started my Instagram page back in 2019 to simply show snapshots of my growing collection, but that quickly evolved as I discovered the creative world of Cinematic Toy Photography.

My name is Christopher DeVargas, I'm a Las Vegas based commercial photographer with over 14 years of shooting editorial covers/features and advertising campaigns. My work ranges from entertainer and celebrity portraiture, to food and cocktails, to fashion and product shots. But over the past few years I've found toy photography to be a fun and fulfilling passion project that allows me to combine my knowledge of photography with my love for nerd-culture. Plus it gives me an excuse to play with action figures again.

If you check out my behind the scenes videos you’ll see that I build unique and creative props and sets pieces for my shoots. In combination with practical and digital effects, I'm able to shoot lifelike cinematic scenes that really tell a story. My work has gained the attention of brands such as DC Comics, Warner Bros., Amazon Prime and others. And I have been commissioned to build exclusive photosets to shoot their branded product for their social media campaigns as well as create Video REELS that show the start to finish process.
